The count effects federal student loans, research grants, university funding, health and social services, and federal legislation. For every adult and every child that is not counted in the census, Missouri will lose $1,300 in federal dollars every year.

Individuals who live in group housing — including students in residential halls and Greek houses — will not have the online option. Students in residential halls and Greek houses will receive paper forms the week of April 6.
Read More »The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting to fill hundreds of thousands of temporary positions across the country to assist with the 2020 Census count. Phelps County is offering $17 per hour for a census taker position. Census takers also receive reimbursement for work-related mileage and expenses, where applicable.
