Open house set for field station
The Biological Sciences Seminar class will host an open house 1-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Missouri S&T Field and Research Station in Newburg, Missouri. The field station is located at 6300 County Road 7550 in Newburg.

Encourage your students to attend a presentation about the Boren Scholarships 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, in Room 101 Emerson Hall. Scholarships for semester and year-long study abroad for both undergraduates and graduate students are available. There is also a new $8,000 scholarship for STEM students to attend an eight-week summer study abroad program. A representative from the Boren Scholarship will make a presentation on opportunities for students who want to study abroad.
