Sigma Phi Epsilon offers scholarship to outstanding new students

To support our mission of Building Balanced Men, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity is offering the Balanced Man Scholarship to outstanding young men entering Missouri University of Science & Technology.

We believe that recognizing students who exhibit balance and all-around excellence is a way to promote this important ideal. This semester we will award two $500 scholarships to a student at Missouri S&T. Our goal is to reward men who exemplify the qualities of a “Sound Mind and a Sound Body”, as we believe they are essential to leading a balanced life. Applicants are not obligated to be affiliated with Sigma Phi Epsilon in order to be qualified for this scholarship.

Event to examine hook-up culture, sexual violence, bystander intervention

The campus community is invited to “The Hook Up: When it’s hot, and when it’s not” at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. The event is hosted by Catharsis productions, in cooperation with Missouri S&T, STEP UP!, equity and Title IX, and Sigma Phi Epsilon.
