Powered by a $300 million gift to strengthen entrepreneurship and innovation, Missouri S&T has established a Ph.D. fellowship program for innovation-minded students interested in pursuing a doctoral degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) fields.

Three physics students win Schearer Prize

Basu Lamichhane, Chandra Adhikari and Ahmed Ibrahim are winners of the 2017 Schearer Prize, awarded at the Missouri S&T physics department’s annual graduate research competition. The award is named in memory of Laird D. Schearer, the department’s first Curators’ Distinguished Professor of physics.
