Celebrate at today’s Staff Appreciation Day

“Fiesta at High Noon” is the theme of Staff Council’s Staff Appreciation Day. The schedule includes these activities, all in the Havener Center today (Wednesday, May 30):

  • 9-10:30 a.m.: Opening ceremony in St. Pat’s Ballroom
  • 10:30-11:30 a.m.: Paint and sip in the Carver-Turner Room (sign up)
  • 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Chair massage in Shamrock Room
  • 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Bingo in Einstein’s area
  • 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Door prize pickup in the Burgess Room
  • 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Poker and other games in the Meramec-Gasconade Room
  • 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Team building with career opportunities and employer relations (COER) in the Missouri-Ozark Room
  • 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Raffle, popcorn, wellness table, Staff Council table and a jam session with Nellie Wilson, all in the Havener Atrium
  • 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Lunch (taco bar) in the dining area
  • 12:30-1:30 p.m.: Paint and sip in the Carver-Turner Room (sign up)
  • 2-3 p.m.: Food auction in the dining area

Staff Day set for May 30

Celebrate Missouri S&T’s Staff Appreciation Day on Wednesday, May 30. The theme is “Fiesta at High Noon.” An opening ceremony will kick off the day’s festivities at 9 a.m. in the St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. Staff will be served a free lunch 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Havener Center’s dining area. The food auction will begin at 2 p.m. in the dining area.

Paint, sip, repeat on Staff Day

Enjoy tea and lemonade while creating artwork during a “Paint and Sip” event at S&T’s Staff Appreciation Day Wednesday, May 30. Due to the popularity of the 2017 event, two sessions will be held. Sign-ups are available online for sessions at 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 12:30-1:30 p.m. Residential life staff members Joni Burch, associate director of student support services, and Sarah Perry, manager of student support services, will lead the classes. Save your spot.
