Graduate studies is now graduate education

Effective immediately, the office of graduate studies has become graduate education. This name change will be implemented gradually with a full implementation to be completed by fall 2023, when the 2023-24 graduate catalog is released.

Careaga recounts branding journey from UMR to S&T

“The Elements of Brand-building in Higher Education: The Role of Strategy, Research and Internal Engagement,” by Andrew Careaga, executive director of marketing and communications, was published in the winter 2017-18 edition of the Journal of Education Advancement & Marketing. The invited paper describes Missouri S&T’s branding initiatives during the 2007-08 name change from UMR and more recent branding efforts associated with S&T’s strategic plan.
