Samuel Frimpong to step down
Dr. Samuel Frimpong, chair of mining and nuclear engineering and the Robert H. Quenon Chair of Mining Engineering, will step down from that position but will continue to serve until a new chair is found. Dr. Ian Ferguson, vice provost and dean for the College of Engineering and Computing, plans to initiate a nationwide search for a new chair soon.
