Library hours during winter intersession
The Curtis Laws Wilson Library is observing the following hours:
- Now through Sunday, Jan. 20: open 8 a.m.- 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; open noon-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
- Monday, Jan. 21: Closed for holiday
- Tuesday, Jan. 22: opens at 7:30 p.m. and 24-hour access to the building resumes for individuals with a current university ID
Library to throw novel-writing party
Celebrate the end of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) with an end-of-the-month party from 11:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, to 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, in the AstroLounge of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library.

During the week of Thanksgiving break, the Curtis Laws Wilson Library will not be a 24/7 accessible building. Instead, the library and its services will observe the following hours:
- Monday, Nov. 19, open 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 20, open 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 21, open 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Thursday, Nov. 22, closed
- Friday, Nov. 23, closed
- Saturday, Nov. 24, open noon-6 p.m.
- Sunday, Nov. 25, open noon-midnight
Library offers updated reading app
1ShareIndividuals with a Missouri S&T account have accessed thousands of eBooks and audiobooks through the OverDrive app. In conjunction with OverDrive, the Curtis Laws Wilson Library announces the release of Libby by OverDrive, a one-tap reading app. This service, powered by OverDrive, is free for users with a library card. Election day is Tuesday, Nov. 6. If you’re voting absentee and need your ballot notarized, Curtis Laws Wilson Library now offers free notary services 8 a.m.-noon every weekday or by appointment.

Celebrate 50 years of the Curtis Laws Wilson Library at a golden anniversary party noon-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26. Dr. Chris Maples, interim chancellor, will kick off the event outside the library with remarks, followed by a tie-dye station hosted by student radio station KMNR.
