Missouri S&T has installed two new advanced lead-battery microgrid systems at the campus’s EcoVillage. To celebrate the installation, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the EcoVillage, on the east side of the Technology Development Center located at 900 Innovation Drive.

The project involves creating an EcoVillage microgrid, using solar panels in combination with lead battery energy storage units. The project is slated to start in October.
