S&T welcomes new graduate students from Iraq scholarship program
Missouri S&T recently welcomed five new graduate students sponsored by Iraq’s Higher Committee for Education Development (HCED), an initiative established by the Prime Minister of Iraq. The program funds top Iraqi students to pursue graduate studies abroad, and Missouri S&T boasts the largest number of HCED-sponsored students of any U.S. university.

International students beginning degree programs in the spring semester began to arrive in the U.S. on Saturday, Dec. 14. International student and scholar services, in collaboration with graduate and international admissions, will hold the international new student orientation on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

International enrollment is now international student and scholar services
International enrollment will now be known as international student and scholar services. The name change reflects the mission to serve as the liaison between international students and scholars, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service.
