The pantry shelves of Russell House were nearly bare when S&T students delivered more than 1,100 canned goods to the shelter last week. Mining engineering students collected the food as partial entry fees to their Haunted Mine event in October. Who’s afraid of the Haunted Mine?

With fall comes the excitement of Missouri S&T’s annual Haunted Mine hosted by mining engineering students. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the fundraiser. Tours will be held 6-11 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20; Saturday, Oct. 21; Friday, Oct. 27; Saturday, Oct. 28, and Halloween night on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
