Police, fire officials to attend training Thursday
Do not be alarmed if you see emergency vehicles, such as fire trucks, police cars and ambulances on campus Thursday, Dec. 12. S&T’s environmental health and safety and University Police are hosting annual off-site responder training 2-3 p.m. at the Missouri S&T Nuclear Reactor.

A gas leak was reported at the construction site south of Kummer Student Design Center at 3:33 p.m. today (Tuesday, Aug. 27). University Police, Rolla Police Department and City of Rolla Fire and Rescue responded. The gas leak was quickly fixed and no evacuation was required.

Rolla Fire and Rescue personnel are conducting routine fire hydrant testing today (Wednesday, July 11) and will flush all the hydrants on campus. As sediment in pipes is flushed out, you may notice brown water momentarily in sinks.
