SDI extends hours
The student diversity initiatives staff (SDI) is pleased to announce extended hours to accommodate S&T students. The SDI office is now open 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday at the diversity house, located at 605 W. 11th St.
Read More »New sewer line going in on 11th Street
Weather permitting, work to install a new sewer line for S&T’s student diversity initiatives building will begin Monday, May 14. The house is located at 605 W. 11th Street. During the work next week, part of the street will be blocked off and the driveway to the house will be torn up. There will be a period during the week in which the restrooms will be unavailable in the house; employees can use the restrooms in Bertelsmeyer Hall instead during this time. Join student diversity initiatives 6-7 p.m. every Tuesday, beginning Feb. 6, at the Diversity House, to engage in a positive dialogue around topics that matter most to you. Interact with peers and tackle some of today’s most taboo topics in a safe and supportive environment. The Diversity House is located at 605 W. 11th St. Light snacks and comfortable space will be provided. Due to a water leak, the breezeway at Emerson Hall and the east and west doors into the building from the breezeway are temporarily closed. The breezeway is expected to be closed for at least a week. Please avoid the breezeway. Emerson Hall remains open and the water is on but the building’s heating is affected. Crews are working on repairs. Crews are also working on repairs at S&T’s Diversity House on 605 W. 11th Street. Due to a water leak, the water is currently shut off at the Diversity House.
