U.S. travel guidelines recently changed for international travelers. Effective Monday, Dec. 6, all air passengers, regardless of vaccination status, must show a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than one day before travel to the United States. Either NAAT/PCR or Antigen testing will be allowed.
Read More »The University of Missouri System has developed a human resources policy to comply with the federal COVID-19 vaccination mandate (Executive Order 14042). The policy, HR-703, is posted on the UM System website. The policy applies to all full-time and part-time employees at S&T, including graduate research assistants (GRAs), graduate teaching assistants (GTAs) and student employees, whether they work in person or remotely. Read More »According to the CDC’s guidelines for COVID-19 vaccine booster shots, individuals age 18 and older who received a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine should receive a booster shot at least two months after receiving their primary vaccine dose. The guidelines also state that individuals who work in education may get a booster shot six months or more after completing the two-dose series of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine.
