Utility outages planned at Computer Science Building

The Computer Science Building will have several upcoming utility outages. The following is a tentative schedule of the outages:

  • A chilled water outage that began at 7 a.m. and will end at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 29. This project will allow for the relocation of a chilled water line.
  • A building-wide power outage will occur 6 a.m.-noon Tuesday, Aug. 4. This outage will allow for the replacement of the building’s main electrical transformer.

Sidewalk closed for water line addition

The sidewalk between McNutt Hall and the Computer Science Building has been closed for crews to add a new water line. The sidewalk will be closed for approximately two weeks.

The cooling system at S&T’s Engineering Research Laboratory (ERL) will be affected Wednesday, Aug. 14, and until noon Thursday, Aug. 15. There will be no air conditioning in ERL during this time.

Construction starts soon for Classroom Learning Center

Water outage planned tomorrow at Computer Science Building
