  • Stephen Corns, associate chair of graduate studies, is featured in an Engineering.com article about Missouri S&T’s master’s degree in engineering management. The article, “Take the Lead Where Engineering and Business Intersect,” was published June 23. Embedded with the story is a video produced by the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) about Missouri S&T’s engineering management and systems engineering department. The video features several faculty and a student, including Corns; Dr. Suzanna Long, department chair; Lizzette Perez-Lespier, a recent PhD graduate; Dr. Elizabeth Cudney, associate professor; Dr. Stephen Raper, associate professor; and Dr. Joan Schuman, assistant teaching professor.

Missouri S&T received 12 awards for excellence in alumni magazines, video production, graphic design, digital publications, research publications, student recruitment publications, web and interactive marketing, and photography from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) during the joint conference of CASE District V and District VI held Dec. 11-13 in Chicago.

University Advancement earns 11 CASE awards

The University Advancement division earned 11 awards out of over 400 submissions during the CASE District VI conference, held Jan. 24-26 in Kansas City, Missouri. The division received four gold awards, two silver awards and five bronze awards for projects ranging from graphic design and news writing to video and photography.
