Read More »Area musicians are invited to join the Rolla Town Band this summer. The band is open to brass, woodwind, and percussion players age 14 and older. There are no auditions to join and players of all abilities are welcome, including those who have not played in recent years. The band will perform five concerts throughout June and July. All five concerts are free and open to the public.

Read More »The S&T Symphonic Band and University Wind Symphony Spring 2019 Concert will take place on Sunday, April 7, at 2:00 p.m. in Leach Theatre. The Symphonic Band will perform “Fanare and Allegro” by Clifton Williams, “Adagio” by David R. Holsinger and “Adirondack Festival Overture” by Stephen Bulla. The University Wind Symphony will perform “An American Elegy” by Frank Ticheli and “1812 Overture” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. This performance of the “1812 Overture” will include pyrotechnics created by faculty in S&T’s explosives engineering program.
