Nominations due today for Woman of the Year, women’s advocate award
Today is the nomination deadline for two awards:
- 2019 Woman of the Year Award: recognizes a female, full-time tenured or tenure-track faculty member who serves as a valuable role model for female students at Missouri S&T. Recipients contribute to the university through their research, scholarship, teaching and service. Nominate someone at giving.mst.edu/WOY.
- Elizabeth Cummins Women’s Advocate Award: honors an S&T employee, regardless of gender or job title, who demonstrates commitment to women on campus through mentorship and advocacy. Nominate someone at giving.mst.edu/AA.

The Dr. Elizabeth Cummins Women’s Advocate Award honors an S&T employee, regardless of gender or job title, who demonstrates commitment to women on campus through mentorship and advocacy.
Read More »Visitors coming to campus for space consortium, discover day, tech conference
Hundreds of visitors are expected on campus in the coming days for the following events:
- The 27th annual spring meeting of the NASA-Missouri Space Grant Consortium will be held in the Havener Center on Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21. Attendees on both days will park in Lot H, located at University Drive and Highway 63, or Lot C-48, located at the corner of 11th and Bishop streets.
- Prospective students and families will explore S&T during a Discover Day, hosted by the office of admissions.
- Approximately 650 students will participate in the Missouri Technology Student Association (TSA) State Conference from Sunday, April 22, to Tuesday, April 24. Most activities will be held at the Havener Center and the Student Recreation Center.
