It’s scary to think about – an active shooter on S&T’s campus. Do you know how you would react? Led by Chief Doug Roberts, the University Police, in conjunction with the Missouri S&T marketing and communications department, created an instructional safety video to teach our community how to survive in the event of an attack by armed individuals.

To accompany the “Chillin’ and Grillin’” themed Staff Appreciation Day Wednesday, May 25, S&T held its first singles cornhole tournament. The top contender, Nathan (Nate) Wilson, earned a $150 gift card, a cornhole champion trophy, and a round of throwing bags with Chancellor Mo Dehghani for extra bragging rights.

The campus community is invited to provide feedback about the qualities, skills and experiences that should be prioritized in this search. Provide feedback in the survey online. At 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, Missouri S&T’s card access system returned to normal operation. Earlier Tuesday at approximately 2:00 p.m., an outage occurred that impacted some ID cards being able to properly unlock doors, and the issue has been fully resolved. Thank you for your patience as teams worked to correct the problem.

The office of academic support will host a second and final screening of Unlikely 2-3:30 p.m. Thursday, June 2, in Leach Theatre. The documentary tells the story of five individuals who were failed by the higher education system and how they fight for a second chance at opportunity at more progressively-minded institutions.
