The information technology Help Desk will be closed noon-5 p.m. Monday, June 1. It will reopen for normal summer business hours at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 2.

Information technology will perform Blackboard maintenance starting at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 2. This will be performed during normal university business hours, unlike most Blackboard maintenance. Blackboard will be unavailable for approximately six hours, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Dan Uetrecht, director of networks and computing in Missouri S&T’s information technology division, has been named interim chief information officer for the university effective June 1. He will succeed current CIO Greg Smith, who announced earlier this year that he will be leaving Missouri S&T at the end of May.

Open forums for two counseling, disability support and student wellness positions will be held May 27-June 3. The forums for a case manager and a counselor will all be held at 1 p.m. in Room 305 Norwood Hall. After a brief presentation, each forum will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
