Read More »Artwork created by Missouri S&T students will be on display May 6-May 10, in the Havener Center as part of the 15th annual Student Art Show. A reception to honor students and their work will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 6, in the atrium of the Havener Center. Refreshments will be served and attendees will be invited to cast their vote for “Best of Show”. Works on display include paintings, drawings, multimedia works, and sculptures created by students enrolled in art courses offered on campus. This event is free and open to the public.
Read More »Missouri S&T’s arts, languages, and philosophy department will present a spring choir concert on Sunday, May 5, in Leach Theatre. The concert will begin at 2 pm and include both jazz and pop songs. Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and under, and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from the Leach Theatre Box Office or by calling 573-341-4219.
Read More »The theme of the Center for Science Technology and Society Spring symposium is Maintenance. This symposium examines maintenance, broadly conceived, from infrastructure and systems maintenance and life cycle assessment to health maintenance to cultures of maintenance. While innovation is celebrated, the bulk of what most technologists and others who interact with technology actually do is some form of maintenance. Five papers will be presented with ample opportunity for discussion. The symposium begins at 1:30 in St, Pat’s B in the Havener Center and concludes at 4:00pm.

Nearly thirty first-year or new transfer students majoring in CASB disciplines will present posters representing the original research they’ve done with their faculty mentors over the course of this semester. The concert will take place on the lawn in front of the Havener Center, and will feature the University Wind Symphony, directed by Dr. David Samson, and the S&T Video Game Music Ensemble.
