As the 150th anniversary of our university’s founding draws closer, registered student organizations, academic units and administrative units that have plans to celebrate this milestone anniversary are invited to apply for one of several mini-grants available to help fund projects and activities that best meet the goals of celebrating the 150th and raising S&T’s visibility to key audiences. On April 30th at 6pm in St. Pat’s C we are having “A Conversation on Learning”. This session will be an open dialogue between students, faculty, staff and administrators about student experiences in the classroom and the importance of student/professor collaboration in the learning process. Faculty, staff, and students are more than welcome to attend the session. The speaker will join us through Zoom conference. Dr. Jonathan Frey is recently retired from his position as Director of Operations Intelligence at Taco Bell Corporation, where he served for 15 years as a data scientist for Operations, Finance, IT, R&D, and HR related projects. Prior to joining Taco Bell, Jonathan served as a Product Development Manager at Mars for 13 years and at Kraft, Inc. as a Research Scientist for 4 years. He holds a B.S. in Bacteriology and a Ph.D. in Food Microbiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
