The 15th Annual Missouri S&T Undergraduate Research Conference will be held April 16, 2019 at the Havener Center. This event provides opportunities for students to showcase research efforts to the campus community and to the public. . Changes coming to student parking permits – what you need to know

Beginning next semester (Fall 2019), the student parking permits for some parking lots will be reserved for students who live in a residential hall. The residential areas and lots include:

  • Residential Commons 1: Students who live in Res Commons 1 will have priority for Lot H permits.
  • Residential Commons 2: Students who live in Res Commons 2 will have priority for Lot S permits.
  • University Commons: Students who live in University Commons will have priority for Lot N permits.
  • Miner Village: Students who live in Miner Village will have priority for Lot K permits.
  • Thomas Jefferson Hall: Students who live in T.J. will have priority for Lot T permits.

If you request a student permit for a residential lot and you do not live in the associated hall, your request will be given lower priority than residents.  However, you may request permits for up to 6 lots to increase your chances to secure a parking space.

Now hiring for 2019 S&T Fitness Center staff

The NEW S&T Fitness Center is now hiring health & fitness minded S&T students for the positions of Fitness Center Attendants and Fitness Center Supervisors.
• The Fitness Center Attendant is responsible for the daily operations of the S&T Fitness Center. They oversee access control, customer service, facility function and security, guest safety, policy enforcement, and emergency response.
• The Fitness Center Supervisor is responsible for all service desk functions, general facility operations, and for evening and weekend coverage of the S&T Fitness Center.
In-house 1st Aid/CPR/AED training is offered and required of all staff.

Volunteer with Gonzo Gives Back during St. Pats Break

Gonzo Gives back is an annual Service project day done through Student Involvement and community partners from around the Rolla area. Students, faculty, and staff can participate in a service project from 8am-12pm on March 14th by registering on Orgsync by March 8th. Free T-shirts will be given out to everyone that registers and there will be free donuts in the morning before the service project begins. Pats points will be awarded to participating organizations: 75 points for 1-3 participants, 100 points for 4+ participants.
