There will be smoke testing from 9 a.m. to noon today (Thursday, Aug. 4) at University Commons, the new residential complex at University Drive near I-44. Construction crews and university officials will conduct the tests. The tests will result in several instances of significant amounts of smoke billowing from the roof of University Commons.

Due to weather concerns, work to apply sealer to the University Promenade outside of the Havener Center, from Highway 63 to the atom design, has been postponed.
