Fire alarm testing planned today in Butler-Carlton, Clayco ACML

Crews will test the fire alarm system at approximately 1 p.m. today (Monday, Aug. 31) in Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall and the Clayco Advanced Construction and Materials Laboratory. The tests will include horns and strobes so individuals in the buildings may hear the alarms and see the alarm lights flashing.

Elevator temporarily out of service

The elevator in the Classroom Learning Center is temporarily out of order. It is expected to be back in service by noon Monday, Aug. 31. In the meantime, individuals may use the elevator in the connected Computer Science Building.

Temporary water outage in Computer Science Building

In order to make restroom repairs, all water has been shut off in the Computer Science Building. During this time, the restrooms will be out of order. The water outage is expected to last until early afternoon today (Tuesday, Aug. 25).

TKE house demo planned

A construction fence is being set up today (Monday, Dec. 23) as crews prepare to demolish the former TKE fraternity house, located on State Street near Bertelsmeyer Hall. The demolition activity will start next Monday, Dec. 30. Do not be alarmed if you hear loud noises in the area.

Due to a system leak, water supply will be unavailable today (Monday, July 8) in Buildings 1, 2 and 3 of the Bureau of Mines.
