Read More »Effective Wednesday, June 1, the Associated Press, the New York Times and other major media outlets now lowercase the term internet. Previously, most news outlets capitalized the term. The Missouri S&T style guide, which is currently under revision, will follow suit and recommend that writers lowercase the term internet in marketing or promotional materials. The updated style guide will be posted this summer on the S&T brand identity website.
