Tomorrow is deadline for staff, faculty award nominations

Computer science seminar to focus on balancing privacy, social media

OURE applications due May 1

Applications are open for the 2019-20 Opportunities for Undergraduate Research Experience (OURE) program. Students who successfully complete the program will receive a $500 scholarship. Applications are due Wednesday, May 1, in the experiential learning office in Room 119 Kummer Student Design Center.

Black Man’s Think Tank to present conversation on learning

Missouri S&T’s Black Man’s Think Tank will host “A Conversation on Learning” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, in St. Pat’s C of the Havener Center. The session will be an open dialogue among students, faculty, staff and administrators about student experiences in the classroom and the importance of student and professor collaboration in the learning process.

All invited to African Gala night

The African Student Association invites all students, faculty and staff to S&T’s African Gala Night 5-9 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in St. Pat’s Ballroom of the Havener Center. With a theme of “The Motherland,” the event will feature different aspects of the African culture, including dance, art, food, fashion, music, entertainment and traditions.
