Read More »George McPherson Jr., professor emeritus of electrical and computer engineering at Missouri S&T, died Monday, Dec. 18. A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at the First United Methodist Church in Rolla. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Friends Service Committee. McPherson, a member of the S&T Academy of Electrical and Computer Engineering, joined the Missouri S&T faculty in 1956 and retired in 1985.
