Missouri S&T will host TEDxMissouriS&T on Thursday, Oct. 26, in Leach Theatre. The theme is “Solve for X.” Anyone with a topic relating to the theme can apply to speak at the event. The application deadline is Sunday, April 30.

S&T choirs to perform spring concert

The S&T jazz and chamber choirs will perform their spring concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 30, in Leach Theatre. The choirs will perform music including “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Paul Simon, “Java Jive” by Milton Drake, “Zigeunerleben” by Robert Schumann, and “Jabberwocky” by Sam Pottle.

Sign up for Lavender Graduation

Established in 1995, Lavender Graduation is an alternate graduation ceremony to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and ally students by acknowledging their achievements and contributions during their time at Missouri S&T. The ceremony will be 5-6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at Hasselmann Alumni House. The ceremony is free and open to any graduating undergraduate and graduate students and their loved ones.
