Missouri S&T has earned the Clery Center’s 2025 Campus Safety Impact Award. The award is given to an institution of higher education that demonstrates innovation and collaboration in enhancing safety on campus. S&T was presented with the award during the National Campus Awareness Month Clery Center Conference in September.

Alajo awarded $1 million to test nuclear fuel

Dr. Ayodeji Alajo, associate professor of nuclear engineering and radiation science, is partnering with Oak Ridge National Laboratory on a $1 million U.S. Department of Energy project to study how a nuclear fuel with a high enrichment level will perform in small modular and microreactors.
