Awards available to help with publishing costs

To assist faculty and staff with publishing efforts, the University Libraries Subvention Program was created to help cover article processing charges or book publishing charges with contributed funds totaling $30,000 from each college, the University Libraries, and the offices of the provost and vice chancellor of Research and Innovation. There are four award cycles per year; this is the second cycle of 2024.

No parking on Pine Street for Boo-Palooza

Wind symphony to perform Nov. 3

The S&T Wind Symphony will perform a second fall concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, in Leach Theatre. Tickets are $5 for the public and free to youth, ages 18 and younger, and Missouri S&T students with a valid ID.

S&T launches ‘Buckle Up, Phone Down’ challenge to promote safe driving practices

Missouri S&T is joining the Buckle Up, Phone Down Challenge, MODOT’s effort to encourage Missourians to drive safer. New signs have been installed in parking lots across campus to remind drivers of the two most important things they can do to prevent (or survive) a crash: buckle their seatbelts and put their phones down.
