The Graduate Student Resource Fair has been rescheduled for 1-3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, in St. Pats C Ballroom of the Havener Center. Originally scheduled for Jan. 17, the resource fair was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Temporary power outage planned in Engineering Management Building

The Engineering Management Building will not have electrical power beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 20. Power will be restored by the end of the day on Jan. 20, and there will be electrical power on the first day of classes (Tuesday, Jan. 21).

Dr. Francisca Oboh-Ikuenobe, professor of geology and geophysics, has been named interim associate dean of the College of Engineering and Computing. After five years, Dr. John Myers, professor of civil, architectural and environmental engineering, is stepping away from the post.

Funeral services planned for Margie Boston

Dr. Margie Viola Boston, a longtime faculty member and chair and professor of music and theater at Missouri S&T, passed away Jan. 5 at age 93. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 16, at Printy Funeral Home in Carthage, Illinois, with burial to follow in Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time the memorial service begins at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
