The final Faculty First Friday of the year will be held on Friday, Dec. 4. These informal lunches provide an opportunity to network and share ideas with your faculty colleagues and university administration. The brown-bag lunch will be held noon-1 p.m. in the Kinyon-Koeppel Grand Hall of Hasselmann Alumni House, located at 1100 N. Pine St. Participants should bring their own lunch, and the chancellor’s office will provide drinks (iced tea, water and coffee) and desserts.

The campus community is invited to the Miner Tank to see presenters sell their innovative ideas to the Missouri S&T Innovation Team 1-3 p.m. today (Thursday, Dec. 3) in the Carver-Turner Room of the Havener Center. Presenters will have six minutes to pitch their proposal, which will be followed by a four-minute question-and-answer session. Light refreshments and beverages will be served.

The campus and area community are invited to attend four open forums for the candidates for director of University Police. Candidates will each have time to give a brief presentation and a question-and-answer period will follow. Forum attendees will be invited to complete an electronic survey following the presentations.
