Musical weekend at Leach Theatre
Two free band concerts for faculty, staff and students who present a valid campus I.D. will be held this weekend. The Jazz Band will perform at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, and the Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16.

Staff Council is sponsoring a food and toy drive for GRACE (Greater Rolla Area Community Enterprise). GRACE provides food, clothing and toys for the less fortunate in the local community every year. Assistance is provided to over 700 families in Phelps County. Collection boxes can be found in most campus buildings between Monday, Nov. 10, and Monday, Dec. 1. Boxes will be picked up on Dec. 1 and delivered to GRACE. Monetary donations are also accepted and may be given to any Staff Council member or a campus building coordinator. A funeral service for Scott Parker will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Dent County Memorial Chapel, 103 West Center St. in Salem, Missouri. Visitation will be held 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service. Parker, research engineering technician I in civil, architectural and environmental engineering, died on Saturday, Nov. 8.
