Dr. EvaLee Lasater, former coordinator of Missouri S&T’s teacher education program, died Thursday, Feb. 5. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at Klinger-Cope Family Funeral Home at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens, 4500 S. Lone Pine in Springfield, Mo., 65804. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stephen A. Douglass Teacher Education Endowed Scholarship at Missouri S&T. To make a contribution, mail a check to Missouri S&T advancement services, Room 112 Campus Support Facility, or visit giving.mst.edu.
