Chancellor Cheryl B. Schrader will present an update on the Missouri S&T strategic plan, “Rising to the Challenge,” to the University of Missouri System Board of Curators on Friday, April 10, when the board meets on the S&T campus. The chancellor’s presentation is the second item on the agenda when the curators convene at 9 a.m. Friday in St. Pat’s Ballroom A and B of the Havener Center. Read More »Did you know that Missouri S&T faculty and staff have an obligation to report sexual harassment (including sexual violence) perpetrated against students? Last spring, University of Missouri System President Tim Wolfe issued an executive order regarding sex discrimination, sexual harassment and sexual misconduct that spells out the responsibilities of university employees in reporting sexual harassment or misconduct against students. Executive Order 40 was written to “supplement the university’s nondiscrimination policies by making it clear that every university employee (unless expressly excluded by this policy) has an obligation to report sexual harassment (including sexual violence) perpetrated against students to the appropriate Title IX Coordinator,” according to the UM System news release. At Missouri S&T, the Title IX coordinator is Shenethia Manuel, associate vice chancellor for human resource services, affirmative action, diversity and inclusion.
