Staff members at the Intelligent Systems Center (ISC) were treated to refreshments on March 7. Missouri S&T Staff Council hosted the thank-you reception to show appreciation for the work employees do.
The thank-you reception is a new initiative by Staff Council’s Involvement Committee to show appreciation to departments throughout S&T.

Funded by the state of Missouri, S&T’s Intelligent Systems Center is responsible for basic and applied research in five areas:
Dr. Ming Leu, the Keith and Pat Bailey Distinguished Professor of Integrated Product Manufacturing, is the center’s director.
Two full-time administrative staff support the center activities. Debbie Sickler, an administrative assistant who has worked at S&T for 12 years, and Lisa Winstead, a senior secretary, who has worked at S&T for five years.
The center currently includes approximately 40 faculty research investigators. The researchers work in various academic departments, including computer science, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, engineering management and systems engineering, chemical and biochemical engineering, materials science and engineering, and psychological science.
ISC has many research laboratories throughout campus, and a strong affiliation with the Center for Aerospace Manufacturing Technologies, an externally funded industrial consortium. Learn more at isc.mst.edu.
