Commencement moves to three ceremonies, department schedule announced

Beginning this semester, Missouri S&T will host three spring commencement ceremonies to accommodate large audiences safely. Each ceremony will be held in the Gale Bullman Building. The ceremonies and departments will be:

6 p.m. Friday, May 17

Undergraduate and graduate students in the following disciplines will be honored:

  • business and information technology
  • chemistry
  • electrical and computer engineering
  • economics
  • English and technical communication
  • mining and nuclear engineering

10 a.m. Saturday, May 18

Undergraduate and graduate students in the following disciplines will be honored:

  • biological sciences
  • chemical and biochemical engineering
  • computer science
  • geosciences and geological and petroleum engineering
  • materials science and engineering
  • mathematics and statistics
  • psychological science

3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18

Undergraduate and graduate students in the following disciplines will be honored:

  • arts, languages and philosophy
  • civil, architectural and environmental engineering
  • engineering management and systems engineering
  • history and political science
  • mechanical and aerospace engineering
  • physics
