Lady Miners streak stays alive heading into weekend

For a time, it appeared that the Lady Miners’ winning streak might fall one game short of the school record. But after outscoring Southern Illinois Edwardsville 28-14 over the final 14 minutes, the streak was a alive and well heading into weekend action at Quincy. Chaucer to be topic of guest lecture

Professor David Coley of the University of Maryland will be presenting a lecture, "A Wikked Tonge: Speaking Power in Chaucer’s Manciple’s Tale," at 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, in Room 201 H-SS. The lecture, which is open to the public, is being hosted by Missouri S&T’s English and technical communication department.
