Curtis Laws Wilson Library presented “Best Bibliography” awards to Missouri S&T students Joshua Eads, Mallary Kleeschulte, and Evan Wright during the Fourth Annual Undergraduate Research Conference held on campus April 9. The winning papers were selected from each of the oral sessions (engineering, natural sciences, and humanities/social sciences).

Winning authors demonstrated the highest combination of quality sources, citation formatting and support of their research in their papers. Each recipient received a check for $250.00 and a 1GB flash drive.

Missouri S&T Chancellor John F. Carney III has issued the following condolences for the families and loved ones of the victims of the Northern Illinois University shooting.

"The Missouri S&T family is deeply saddened by the horrific event that took place on the Northern Illinois University campus on Thursday," Carney said. "We extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to the families and friends of the victims, as well as to the university’s students, faculty, staff and alumni as they cope with this tragedy and begin to heal and rebuild."
