Death of Josette Allgood

Josette Allgood died Wednesday, Aug. 24. MinerRama moved to the Havener Center

Due to inclement weather forecasted for tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 26) MinerRama has been moved indoors to the Havener Center. The event will be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Come enjoy the event, visit with student organizations and meet various campus departments. For more information, contact Tina Reagan.

New mobile app turns your phone into a safety device

Check out the new and improved Missouri S&T Calendar of Events. With a more prominent display on the university main website, the calendar is your go-to place for publicizing events. If you want to ensure your upcoming event has the most visibility possible, simply visit, log on with your university username and password, and submit your event information to the calendar. It’s a free service to all university-affiliated organizations, and it’s the best way for you to inform the campus community of your event.

Retirement reception for Dr. Donald Hagen

The physics department invites you to attend a retirement reception for Dr. Donald Hagen, professor of physics, 2-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, in Room 208 Physics Building. Help the department celebrate his years at the university and wish him well in his retirement.

Expect noise during MinerRama at the Puck on Friday

Student life expects a large group to attend the annual MinerRama involvement fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow (Friday, Aug. 26) at the Puck. Over 200 booths have been reserved by student organizations, university departments and area businesses. Through MinerRama, students are offered an exciting way to access information and explore ways to connect with the campus.
