Phyllis Ann McCoy, former director of human resource services at Missouri S&T, died Saturday, April 27. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, and a Hawaiian-themed memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, both at Hutson Funeral Home, 601 W. Main St., in Steelville, Mo.

Dr. Shamsher Prakash, professor emeritus in civil, architectural and environmental engineering, will be recognized at a luncheon to be held during the seventh International Conference on Case Histories in Geotechnical Engineering in Chicago, on May 4. The Missouri S&T University and Chamber choirs will perform at 7:30 p.m. today, April 29, in Leach Theatre of Castleman Hall. The concert will have two portions. The first is comprised of standard choral literature, and the second is styled like a show choir performance.
