Auburn professor to speak at ERC seminar

Dr. T. Prabhakar Clement from Auburn University will discuss "Are Groundwater Models Reliable Tools for Reconstructing Historical Contamination Scenarios?" at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, in Room 209 Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Hall. The seminar is presented by the Environmental Research Center.

Clement is an Arthur H. Feagin Professor of civil engineering at Auburn. He earned a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Auburn in 1993, specializing in the areas of environmental engineering and groundwater hydrology. He earned a master of technology degree in environmental science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, a master's degree in physics from the American College at Madurai University in India, and a bachelor's degree in physics from Loyola College at Madras University. Clement has won numerous honors and awards, and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles.
