Day to deliver lecture on treating cancer with radioactive glass beads

Dr. Delbert Day, Curators' Professor emeritus of materials science and engineering, will present a biological sciences seminar on "Destroying Malignant Tumors Using Radioactive Glass Microspheres," at noon on Monday, March 10, in Room 126 of Schrenk Hall at Missouri S&T. Day will describe how glass microspheres developed at Missouri S&T are being used by physicians to successfully treat patients with liver cancer in the United States, Europe and Asia.
