PeopleSoft eProcurement training offered

|

Over the last year, Procurement has been busy testing and implementing PeopleSoft eProcurement. Now it is time for all users to move from the PeopleSoft “Purchasing” module to PeopleSoft “eProcurement” module. This change allows users to enter two kinds of requisitions: catalog and non-catalog. The Show Me Shop within PeopleSoft currently includes catalogs from approximately 20 suppliers who have contracts with the university. It allows requestors to select the items at the contract price, add them to a cart, and then process the requisition in an Internet type of buying. Catalog orders are processed automatically and sent directly to suppliers directly five times each day. Non-catalog requisitions are for anything that is not in the catalogs and are similar to the current requisitioning process.

Users may register for eProcurement training online at http://procurement.mst.edu/psoft/psschedule.html. Training is available for current PeopleSoft Purchasing users and new users. All users, both current and new, must attend training and be switched to eProcurement by June 30, 2008. Please contact Campus Procurement at extension 4266 if you have questions.
