The Baptist Student Union will present a free lecture by Dr. Andy McIntosh at 7 p.m. Jan. 25 in Leach Theatre. McIntosh will discuss the scientific validity of creationism and evolution in his talk, titled "Design, Thermodynamics and Information - from mindless matter or by God's Word?" A question- and answer-session will follow the lecture.

McIntosh is a researching professor in the thermodynamics and combustion theory in the fuel and energy department at University of Leeds.
