UMR is conducting an internal review of its environmental management system now through the end of October. The scope of the audit and a list of participating departments are posted online .
The internal audit is conducted to help prepare the campus for the external ISO 14001-certification audit, scheduled for Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2007. Ron Kurtzman with National Quality Assurance USA Inc. (NQA) will conduct the external audit at UMR during that time frame.
